Penis Extenders can extends it by up to 2.3 centimeters
A longer manhood using Penis Extenders? So far, this was only the wish of many men with (imagined) length deficits below the belt line. With a so-called expander, however, about two centimeters more are possible, according to the result of a current investigation.
The Italian scientists Marco Oderda and Penis Extenders Mark Portotz from the University, having looked through various studies on penis enlargement, found that the Penis Extender has a similar effect to a surgical extension. Between 0.5 and 2.3 centimeters are possible with the mechanical extensors, surgical interventions could reach extensions between 1.3 and 2.5 centimeters.
Advantage of the Penis Extenders: no complications like an operation. The biggest disadvantage: the stretcher has to be worn for up to four hours a day over a period of six months in order to achieve good results. Side effects: some subjects reported temporary discolouration, pain and itching.
What are penis extenders really?
“Our review showed that penis extenders are an effective method for penis extension, it can be 1.8 centimeters longer on average with minimal side effects. For this reason, we think penis expanders should be preferred to a surgical procedure first, ”explains Professor Gontero.
Hand stretching and botox injections do not help, the scientists explain, and the penis pump used for impotence does not bring about any permanent extension.
By the way: The scientists also came to the conclusion that many men misjudge their Penis Extender size. Even those who find their penis too small are usually on average – four centimeters in the unguided and 7.5 centimeters in the erect state are still considered “normal”.

This is said to bring an increase in length of two to eight centimeters and an additional circumference of up to three centimeters.
Penis extensions are useless
The self-confidence of many men also depends on the size of their manhood. Gels, injections and surgeries promise to lengthen the limb if desired. British doctors are now advising against such interventions. These are “ineffective and risky”, writes a research team from the renowned King’s College London in the journal “Medicine Reviews”. dysfunction or persistent numbness were imminent while the desired effect did not appear.
For the meta-analysis, the researchers evaluated 17 previous studies and were able to view the patient data of 1192 men. The documents provide information about 21 different ways to extend the manhood. Some of them were associated with surgery, others were not.
Less than two centimeters
Because it was mainly young men who participated in the study, the study is not representative of all patients. In addition, only a few patient data are available from some interventions. Compared to other studies, overview studies are still more reliable because they summarize the knowledge from individual studies and can draw on a larger data base.
So-called penis extenders were among the examined non-surgical interventions. A loop is usually placed around the shaft of the penis and pulled. This causes the tissue to stretch over time. According to the study, the limb lengthened by less than two centimeters in the non-erect state, but pain often occurred. In addition, the desired effect did not last long.
Injections into the limb did not result in any lengthening, the manhood became a little thicker at best. Suction devices had no effect at all.
Surgical penis enlargement without using Penis Extenders
Ligamentolysis is one of the most common surgical procedures. Doctors use the fact that the longest part of the Penis Extenders is inside the body and is not visible from the outside. If you cut some penis straps that hold the penis to the pelvis, part of the previously invisible penis slips outwards. This makes it appear larger, even if the organ itself does not gain length as a result. According to the Center for Penile Surgery, the limb can look two to three centimeters longer. However, according to the British researchers, the intervention did not always have the desired effect. Complications such as erectile dysfunction were also common.
“Overall treatment outcomes were poor, with low satisfaction rates and a significant risk of serious complications, including deformity, shortening, and Penis Extenders,” the researchers summarize the study’s findings. You therefore advise against such interventions. Also because the costs can amount to the equivalent of up to 46,000 euros, which are rarely covered by health insurance companies.
“Most men who want penis enlargement mistakenly think their penis is too small,” urologist Gordon Muir told The Guardian. What size is “normal” for a penis is not medically defined. According to a study from 2014, the average penis length when flaccid is 9.16 centimeters. From a Penis Extenders length of less than seven centimeters when erect, doctors speak of a micropenis.
